About Me
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of North Carolina Greensboro. I was a a postdoctoral research scientist in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
Research
My research interests include Information Retrieval, Machine Learning and Software Engineering with applications in large clinical information acquisition, mining and visualization that help solving important healthcare problems. I am also interested in web text mining and retrieval.
